Felix Romuliana is a Late Antique imperial palace complex built in the 3rd and 4th centuries AD.
It was the residence of the last Roman emperor to be deified, Emperor Gaius Valerius Galerius Maximianus, one of sixteen Roman emperors born on the territory of present-day Serbia. The complex was named after his mother, Romula, and includes fortified palaces, temples, baths, and mosaics of exceptional artistic and historical value.
Felix Romuliana is one of the most significant and best-preserved monuments of Late Roman imperial architecture in Europe. In its immediate vicinity are the mausoleums and the memorial complex located on the nearby Magura Hill.
The entire complex is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
