Rgoska Banjica is one of the most popular picnic sites and tourist destinations in the vicinity of Knjazevac, located just a few kilometers from the town. The attraction is known for its thermal spring whose water, with a constant temperature of around 28 °C, contains magnesium, selenium, manganese, fluoride, and radon, and has been used for healing purposes for centuries—especially for recovery and relaxation. At the very spot of the spring, a small natural lake was formed, which has now been complemented with modern amenities and transformed into a well-equipped sports and recreational complex.
The new rehabilitation and wellness center, situated in the immediate vicinity of the thermo-mineral water source, represents a modern oasis of rest and regeneration. The center is equipped with hydromassage tubs, a sauna, steam baths, and specialized rehabilitation equipment, offering ideal conditions for relaxation and health recovery. Thanks to a combination of active time in nature and professional wellness treatments, it is the perfect place to recharge after a cycling ride, making the entire route particularly attractive and unique in the region.
The swimming pool complex is a modernly arranged oasis for recreation, enjoyment, and spending time outdoors. Its central feature is an Olympic-size swimming pool measuring 25×50 m, with a depth of 1.6–2.20 m, filled with naturally heated thermal water supplied directly from the Rgoska Banjica spring. Next to it is a spacious children’s pool, 10–60 cm deep, equipped with a fun mini aqua park—ideal for young visitors and family activities.
The complex also includes a modern building with changing rooms, a wardrobe area, and a café, as well as a pleasant outdoor garden with about 120 seats, suitable for rest and refreshments during summer days. Visitors have access to a large parking area for both cars and bicycles, making the complex easily accessible to everyone. For lovers of active leisure, there are sports courts nearby for beach volleyball, basketball, and small football, turning the complex into an ideal place for combining sports, relaxation, and full-day outdoor enjoyment.
